Local ways of life together with the further development of cultural heritage influence and form a region and its people. Trippstadt, as a woodland community, was subject to a great variety of cultural influences during its more than 700 years existence; for one there was Wilenstein Castle, then industrialisation, and also its proximity to the town of Kaiserslautern played an important role.Today such diversity still prevails in the village with 22 clubs, societies and initiatives.

For 120 years the Male Choral Society 1882 has devoted itself to German songs and ballads. The choir gives both classical and folk-lore performances at its two yearly concerts at the Karlstal hall in spring and autumn.

For the past 60 years Trippstadt's band has performed at many events held in the village. It plays a big part in the community's cultural life e.g. at the official opening of the charcoal burners' festival, church services, the "Oktoberfest" at the Karlstal hall or the midsummer-night festivals at the Heidenkopf hall. By performing elsewhere in the region it has made the climatic health resort of Trippstadt well known. It must also be mentioned that, after the war, the band put on plays together with members of the former mixed choir "Heimatliebe" at "Schaeffer's Ballroom" ,where the fair dance took place up into the sixties.

Culture also plays a significant role in the gymnastic and sports clubs. The TSG 04 did not only do exercises and play football, but also performed plays in the 20s of last century. This tradition was taken up again by the "Gymnastic Club 1962" in 1986 and is continued today by "CUM Culture and More". Each year a new piece is performed at the Heidenkopf hall, ranging from fairy tales, local dialect , criminal, historical or social pieces.

Apart from the Wilenstein Castle concerts, which are held in the courtyard of the castle ruins on fine evenings, the evangelical church' brass ensemble goes open-air too in the perfect setting of the palace gardens in Trippstadt. Both events are held in the evang. church if the weather should not permit an outdoor performance. Everyone in Trippstadt always hopes for the best for you, and themselves.

Since 1987 CUM Culture and more has dedicated itself to black music with its gospel and spiritual choir "Go-Spirit". Guests are welcome to come and join in their practice on Wednesday evening.
